Thanks. In a nutshell, what's the difference between deal tilde and deadacute?

BTW, I have standard German layout and I am still able to do the Frenchaccented vowels:


á é í ó ú ( ´ + vowel)

à è ì ò ù ( SHIFT + ´ + vowel)

It's a pain but doable.
