I don't think he is saying that (but I could be wrong) (and I think that is 
pretty clear from subsequent comments, but I wanted to perhaps make it a 
little more clear), iiuc, he's just pointing out things like the overhead on 
recovery when you have to take the base file and apply the forward deltas to 
it.
