Hi, it's probably not the answer you want, but just in case it hasn't occurred
to you, the management interface web page of the remote home-machine
ISP connection usually states the dynamic IP in use.

That's how I occasionally solve this problem for managing machines of
non-technical family members at remote locations, I just login to their
ISP account which shows the dynamic IP address.

Also don't open up ssh unless it is secured with public-private keys and
password access is disabled.
