Some "advanced" features of the console, in particular higher 
resolutions, might be incompatible with the nvidia driver, there is 
nothing to worry about.

You could try running 'dpkg-reconfigure console-setup' (as root).

The better looking font is called 'Terminus' and is a very good 
monospaced font. Chose a size appropriate for the resolution of your 
consoles (sizes are in pixels).
