python pip trouble
Buster, Supermicro workstation
I wanted to install pip (python3 is installed and working well and my
apt mirrors are up to date):
root@sbox:~# apt install pip
Reading package lists... Done

E: Unable to locate package pip
I went to Synaptic to look around a bit. It installed (pip for
pythion3). I went to man pip, and was told I could enter a command
followed by --help:
root@sbox:~# pip install --help
-bash: pip: command not found
root@sbox:~# whereis pip
pip: /usr/bin/X11/pip
root@sbox:~# /usr/bin/X11/pip

What's it doing off everybody's $PATH? What's bent? My brain???
