If I wanted that, I would:

cd src (or anywhere else you want to keep the source)
git clone https://github.com/ohmyzsh/ohmyzsh.git
and then modify tools/install.sh to run 'cp' instead of 'git'
commands for the rest of it, since you'll have all the files
in place.
