Yes, especially the option to put your own wife's email address as Cci for every email sent.
The pro is that your wife will be able to make sure the email has been sent correctly (not dropped by your wife's email provider for example). The filter idea will only make a copy as soon as the email is sent. It's probably less reliable.

PS: please use a more specific email subject next time. If everybody does the same, it would impossible to track any thread ;)
