RFC2181 section 10.3 says you can't point your MX record to a CNAME
Maybe that's why Namecheap has the MXE record that points to an IP.
Besides the relevant RFCs, can anyone recommend a good book that covers all this. I have a couple of the O'Reilly books on "Postfix" and "DNS and Bind" and I am going back to refresh myself, but any other recs?
