Hardware is in place and I've installed WINE. Therefore willing to
invest a little more effort before jettisoning.

fstab has this.
peter@dalton:~$ grep FAT /etc/fstab
/dev/fd0 /media/floppy0 auto rw,user,users,noauto 0 0
A mount attempt gives this message window whereas other FAT diskettes
mount with no difficulty.

The diskette mounts in Oberon and contents can be displayed there.
Any tips about mounting the diskette in Debian 10.
