Update Two Problems

I found it necessary to reinstall Debian Stretch on my primary computer 
and encountered two problems.

The first problem was that the installer failed to verify updates at the 
uchicago mirror and commented out the applicable lines in the fstab.  I 
can live with that as I use the v-9-9-0 is fr the installation and the 
issuance of Buster is imminent.

More serious. however is the other error:

[Connecting to prod.debian.map.fastly.net (2a04:4e42:3e::204)]

I have goggled this and found some (very few, at least that I found) 
that address this problem and seem to give a solution for it.

Help will be much appreciated.
