Just a tip: there's "ssh -X" or better "ssh -Y" for that. Perhaps it
suits your needs...

In this case I would prefer sshfs as "ssh -X" can be somewhat laggy
when you don't have a fast connection.

sshfs to run a remote shell and X programs ?
