Not really on-topic, but perhaps helpful: next time you do a
find ... -type f -name "*.xpm" -exec md5sum {} + | sort
or something (replace md5sum with sha5sum if you fear your machine
will be hacked [1] ;^P
Identical files will be sorted next to each other.
