But it is a step forward towards debugging. If it works with default/auto
settings, but fails with your manual settings, then you can narrow down (even
pinpoint) the offending culprit.
Even if it is related to a kernel upgrade, this is still a useful step, as it
might give you enough information to submit a bug report.
If you are so sure it is related to kernel that you see no reason for
debugging, then you can just try-and-err with different kernel versions. But
then why attach xorg.log in the first place?
