I rebooted stretch and now my journald is being swamped with the following message:
/usr/lib/gdm3/gdm-x-session[2684]: Promise rejected after context unloaded: Message manager disconnected
I managed to get rid of this flood of messages by running Firefox 52.6.0 (last update Jan 23, 2018) in safe mode. But I don't know yet which of the add-ons is causing the problem. It's not BetterPrivacy.
