The Beefeater or the Ring of Bells would be good.
Early evening would be best for me - say 6.30? But I'm flexible on this.
Cheers,
Paul

Dear Paul,
Many thanks for the offer.
I need to think of a good place to have a meal round here.
We could try e.g. the Beefeater at Preston Brook or the Ring of Bells in Frodsham.
Restaurants in Runcorn itself are not very fancy - there is a Pizza Hut in the Halton Lea business park that is not that bad.
I think you might have eaten there once before. That might also work.
What time of day would be best for this next Friday?
Cheers

This sounds good.
The file you sent me doesn't help very much, since it is limited to the UK subsidiary.
I suggest you prepare a 1-page briefing note for the meeting, in concise bullet point format.
Good luck!

Dear Paul,
Happy New Year!
I am emailing to let you know that a US firm, with a UK subsidiary based in Wilton, Teeside called Calysta (http://calysta.com/) has taken a bit of interest in Climostat.
This firm is making protein from methanotrophs to be used a foodstuff for fish and other animals. They are building a plant in the US that will produce 200,000 tonnes a year of the product.
It will be the largest gas fermentation plant in the world.
They have several investors including Cargill which is a large US food business with 100000 employees.
One of their executives is coming to Teeside early in February.
They are suggesting either a phone chat or meeting.
I am at present thinking to ask for a meeting with them in Wilton.
I have attached the companies house filing for the UK subsidiary to this email.
I hope the file is not too big to make it to your end.
Wish me luck on this.
Regards
Michael
