I have the same effect, but different log. I have way too many keyboards,
none of which work. Grepping that log for "type", I get all this:
[ 19.958] (II) XINPUT: Adding extended input device "rk8xx_pwrkey"
(type: KEYBOARD, id 6)
[ 20.029] (II) XINPUT: Adding extended input device "Logitech USB
Receiver" (type: MOUSE, id 7)
[ 20.105] (II) XINPUT: Adding extended input device "Logitech USB
Receiver" (type: MOUSE, id 8)
[ 20.123] (II) XINPUT: Adding extended input device "Logitech USB
Receiver" (type: KEYBOARD, id 9)
[ 20.142] (II) XINPUT: Adding extended input device "Logitech USB
Receiver" (type: MOUSE, id 10)
[ 20.159] (II) XINPUT: Adding extended input device "Logitech USB
Receiver" (type: KEYBOARD, id 11)
[ 20.160] (II) XINPUT: Adding extended input device "Logitech USB
Receiver" (type: KEYBOARD, id 12)
[ 87158.337] (II) XINPUT: Adding extended input device "Logitech USB

[ 87158.346] (II) XINPUT: Adding extended input device "Logitech USB

[ 87158.364] (II) XINPUT: Adding extended input device "Logitech USB

[ 87170.833] (II) XINPUT: Adding extended input device "Logitech USB

[ 87170.838] (II) XINPUT: Adding extended input device "Logitech USB
Receiver" (type: KEYBOARD, id 11)
[ 87170.923] (II) XINPUT: Adding extended input device "Logitech USB
Receiver" (type: MOUSE, id 12)
[ 87417.673] (II) XINPUT: Adding extended input device "MOSART Semi. 2.4G
Keyboard Mouse" (type: MOUSE, id 7)
[ 87417.677] (II) XINPUT: Adding extended input device "MOSART Semi. 2.4G
Keyboard Mouse" (type: KEYBOARD, id 8)
[ 87417.694] (II) XINPUT: Adding extended input device "MOSART Semi. 2.4G
Keyboard Mouse" (type: KEYBOARD, id 9)

Mouse moves, clicks do nothing and keyboard isn't functional. The big
time offsets were created when I shuffled dongles around to try a
different keyboard, which likewise doesn't work with x. Works fine on
vt0.

I wonder if these choruses of symptoms have a common cause? My board is a
rock64, an arm64 board, quad core.
