Both "Google" and "DuckDuckGo" lead to pages headed "Welcome to
glinka!"

Any one else having problems?

Only with that one particular URL. Glinka is simply one of the
hosts in the Debian server fleet. You should be able to find what
you want that's specific to Debian starting out at one or more of:

http://www.debian.org/doc/
http://www.debian.org/doc/manuals/debian-reference/

That page says
/begin quote
manual pages
Traditionally, all Unix programs are documented with manual pages, reference manuals made available through the man command. They usually aren't meant for beginners. You can search for and read the manual pages available in Debian in http://manpages.debian.org/.
/end quote

"http://manpages.debian.org/"; is a link to http://manpages.debian.org/cgi-bin/man.cgi

http://manpages.debian.org/ gives the "Welcome to glinka!" message.> http://www.debian.org/doc/user-manuals
[snip]

Simply googling any specific man page WFM for components and
utilities that aren't specific to Debian.

I explicitly wanted the Debian version.
