You downloaded the driver from wheezy-backports? It's a deb file (a
debian package). Normally, you would simply transfer the deb from the
usb key to your wheezy box and install it via the following command (as
root) :'dpkg -i firmware-realtek_0.43~bpo70+1_all.deb' and you'd be
done.
Or have I missed something along the way (after inadquate
contemplation)?
