gimp resynthesizer

Hi,

According to https://packages.debian.org/sid/gimp-resynthesizer 
I've installed gimp-plugin-registry in the jessie system here.
A usage page instructs to find the resynthesizer in the Scpript-Fu 
menu.  The only entry in the principal Script-Fu here is "Color" 
and it has no functionality.  There is a Filters > Script-Fu > 
{Console, Refresh Scripts, Start Server}.  Usage of these eludes me.

Any tips to make the gimp resynthesizer work?
