Lost choice

Yesterday, before a power-cut induces crash, I could right-click on a .pdf in pcmanfm and be offered a choice of programs to open the .pdf with.

Today, right-clicking on the .pdf only offers me Open.

I have checked in~/.local/share/applications/defaults.list  where I still have the line

application/pdf=xarchiver.desktop;chromium.desktop;pdfshuffler.desktop;userapp-evince-MI9Q4W.desktop;userapp-pdfposter-TW8HPX.desktop;flpsed.desktop;userapp-xournal-FC6H3X.desktop;kornelix-fotoxx.desktop;userapp-evince '%f'-LXVDFY.desktop;

Any idea how to restore the choice for opening the file ?
