Is there a way to make udev "forget" all the removable storage peripherals it has "seen" ?
Cheers, Ron.

Look for files in /etc/udev/rules.d containing the word "persistent" - in the case of network devices, you just need to remove the network lines from the file. It looks like it might be just a bit more complicated for storage devices.
