Hi, since there isn't an update-notifier for the XFCE panel anymore and pk-update-icon isn't in Jessie and apparently has large dependencies to build as of yet, this is a small script to do just that. It uses xfce4-genmon-plugin (or actually it's the other way around). Documentation and configuration are in the file.
