USB3 problem
My external USB3 hard drive worked for a while but it gave an error and
dropped the drive and now it won't mount.
I'm hoping rebooting will fix it but that is a bit drastic.

I tried a USB2 port and it worked.

That is not a good solution either because I have more USB3 ports.
I'm using Jessie.
