Re: Debian right for my use?

Ive invested quite some time looking for CAD software running natively
on linux, there isnt much. There is one 3D CAD software running
flawlessly on my Debian machine, its called Varicad. Correct me if Im
wrong but Virtualbox will take away some of your graphics card power..
Besides that, Im also running Virtualbox on my Debian machine, without
any trouble. I would not go with Wine to run CAD software because there
are just too many things that might not work. Overall Debian is much
more stable than Ubuntu and I think is a good starting place for you to
get into the linux world.
Good luck, let me know how you do,
by the way, what CAD software you using?
