Sorry that setup info is wrong... it is a debian (jessie) install where I
get that brief output that makes me think nothing really happened:

Debian (jessie)
  uname -a:

 Linux dv 3.16.0-4-586 #1 Debian 3.16.7-2 (2014-11-06) i686 GNU/Linux

  harry > sudo /etc/init.d/ssh restart
  Restarting ssh (via systemctl): ssh.service.

  Should there be more output?
