Not accepting invalid HELOs is pretty high on the list because it's a
very simple check. It gets rid of quite a lot of spam with minimal
resource usage.

Again we must be afraid of speaking of daemons for fear that daemons
might swallow us. Finally, this fear has become reasonable.
