Hi,
I've just installed Debian Testing(Jessie) on my brand new asus, It booted well with open source drivers, but GNOME shell lags a bit and randomly hangs.

I've decided to install proprietary drivers from Nvidia, but had no success:
1. I've tried to add contrib and non-free repositories and the install the drivers as specified in https://wiki.debian.org/NvidiaGraphicsDrivers debian wiki
2. then I tried the advice from this topic http://forums.debian.net/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=114472
3. tried the sgfxi to install both beta and stable drivers and drivers for my intel video card
4. and at last I've tried installing https://wiki.debian.org/Bumblebee.
I had no success booting X after each of those tries and been able to boot it only by removing all of that and booting with standard free drivers.

I can't believe it's impossible to run Debian with latest Nvidia GPUs running at full speed. If someone has the solution please guide me through the installation process.
