task-laptop question
Hi,
Yesterday I installed Debian testing on my laptop.
- I said no to "desktop environment"
and yes to "task-laptop"
After the installation, network-manager was available.
With "nmtui" I was able to activate available wifi connection.
However, I wasn't able to get online until I did this:
ifdown eth0
Is this expected/desired situation?
I mean, it is not the end-of-world-situation, but it is not a good default state either.
(NOTE: after manually installing "ifplugd", things are smoother, although I am not sure if this was the best thing to do).
