What is make_chroot_jail.sh? Where did you obtain it from?

debootstrap to bootstrap a minimal chroot environment and then configure
schroot to access it convieniently? If you want an absolutely minimal
environment, then this won't be the answer; this will give you a
functional Debian system with dpkg and everything.
