webcam /dev/video missing / ERROR opening V4L interface



Was working a couple of months ago, now it's not.

Sid: 3.12-1-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 3.12.8-1 (2014-01-19) x86_64 GNU/Linux
and 3.11-2 debian kernels

ls /dev/video
ls: cannot access /dev/video: No such file or directory
