Yes I did; I spent the equivalent of US$80 for a UPS (uninterruptable power supply) which is essential in Thailand to protect sensitive equipment such as computers against periodic power failures, spikes, etc.
I also spent the quivalent of US$258 installing dedicated *grounded* outlets running from the main supply, also essential here for computers and much else besides.
