grep (like most *nix tools) is case sensitive; in your case, you'd need
to grep for 'Wireless' (I'd usually just do something like "ireles")

For troubleshooting, it's better to use the more primitive tools. Can
you try bringing up the interface using ifconfig / iwconfig?
