Hi Alex,

try Trinux (google at it) or you can use tomsrtbt (http://www.toms.net/rb/).

The second one helped a lot.

If you got a netbook and you can boot from an usb stick, you might want to use 
"Trinity Recue Kit" or "Rescue is Possible" aka R.I.P..

Both are my favourite tools. To get both on an usb stick, use unetbootin 
(available for linux and windows) for it.
