CUPS, "Add Printer Error".

and adding a printer via the Administration screen."

Since grading from Squeeze to Wheezy, 
"Add Printer Error
Unable to add printer: 
Unauthorized"

"If you get a permission error, try adding yourself to the group lpadmin."

In lpadmin already.

In Squeeze a simple dialogue was presented.  After logging in as root, 
adminstative tasks could proceed.

Any ideas how to fix this one?
