For a very simple monitor (two bars), add the Network
Monitor and configure to taste. In more detail:
1. Right click on panel; select Panel; select Add New Item; scroll down
to Network Monitor and select it.
2. Then configure it with a right click, enter the device ID (e.g.
eth1), add whatever label you wish, and Bob's your uncle.
Placing your cursor over the app will show the average traffic over the
past minute.
