how to avoid download during debian installation.

i am frequently installing Debian on our systems and when ever i do this whether DVD or via CD or even via inet Cd . in all cases debian download/updates from repository which is a waste of time and bandwidth almost take 40 to 60 minutes in order to fully upgrade. is there anything i can do to avoid wasting time and manage something locally so that instead of wasting precious bandwidth i could point it to the local resource and thing can be up to date as needed.

Thank you,

Myk
