Update problems with Debian security repository
I have the following problem when updating (or trying to use Squeeze's
security repository):
------------------------------------------------------
Err http://security.debian.org main/contrib Sources
404 Not Found [IP: 212.211.132.32 80]
Err http://security.debian.org main/non-free Sources
404 Not Found [IP: 212.211.132.32 80]
Hit http://ppa.quickbuild.pearsoncomputing.net squeeze Release
Err http://security.debian.org main/contrib amd64 Packages
404 Not Found [IP: 212.211.132.32 80]
Ign http://mozilla.debian.net squeeze-backports/iceweasel-esr amd64 Packages
Err http://security.debian.org main/non-free amd64 Packages
404 Not Found [IP: 212.211.132.32 80]
------------------------------------------------------------------
This has been consistent over a period of time, tho' I am not sure how long.
(Days not weeks).
But ping by IP is fine:
--------------------------------------------------------
lisi@Tux-II:~$ ping 212.211.132.32

On the face of it, a straight-forward dns problem, but I have the problem with
absolutely nothing elsethat I know of, and it is the result of aptitude's
activities that gives me the IP in the first place.
My sources.list is:
--------------------------------------------------

I could not trace a different mirror to try, though I have googled and looked
at the suggested sources.list for Squeeze on the Debian site.
Any suggestions? Please??
Lisi
