So I had the remote people
take the drive to a more modern sid machine
and
using parted version 2.3
I was able to create a gpt partition table
and partition into two 1.5TB partitions with ext3.
So my question is, will the two partitions be mountable and usable on the original ext3 system?
I am hoping the answer is yes. It will take a few long drives back and forth to find out :)
Thanks
Mitchell
