You most certainly can, :)
I have had mail bouncing, and going missing.
The initial posting to all of the mailing lists on Yahoo, and Debian
arrives ,but the copy sent back from the list is blocked. Its slow here
as well. The web interface is horrible.

I did a good search and found SimplyMailSolutions and they can host
your domain and/or change the MX record so mail gets routed through
them.
I had problems getting the delivery due to configuration problem with
my domain host, and their support is very good, and its not a call
centre in India, where you can't understand them, and their knowledge
is only whats on the screen in front of them,( add that to the list of
not using gmail )
Anyway, their support was great and got the config problem sorted, non
of this , "sorry we dont support linux users" , gmail favourite get out.
I've left the mail folders on gmail, but now upload to their imap server
from simply mail solutions MS exchange server. Bypassing all their
filtering.
A case of what's worse, Google or MS

I guess that will cause the list police to raise a few hundred
complaints :)
