Also PHP5 borked along w/ update-initramfs.
PHP5 borked w/ no uuid.so
apt-get install php5-uuid

Every once in awhile sid/unstable bites.
This appears to be one of those times.
I'd appreciate debian team posting something about this
and/or how to untangle it.
