Yes. I have fixed this issue by disabled this plugin org.gnome.settings-daemon.plugins.xrandr
Please see the screenshot.

I think you wanted "find / -type f -name xorg.conf"
but:

compare your output with:
find / -name *xorg.conf*

OK back to your problem

What is output of:
ls -al /usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d
# find / -name *xorg.conf*
/usr/share/man/man5/xorg.conf.5.gz
/usr/share/man/man5/xorg.conf.d.5.gz
/usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d

# find / -type f -name xorg.conf

# ls -al /usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d

I have attached the files under /usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/
