Okay, so what we have now is that you:

1/ Have turned off the screensaver *and*
2/ Display power saving options are disabled *and*
3/ Your screen is still going to sleep after 10 minutes...

Weird...

I suppose you are not hibernanting nor suspending your computer, right?

You can run a simple test: create a new user, login with it and check if 
the same happens there so we can discard/confirm a configuration problem 
coming for your current user profile.
