Your problem is unclear - it sound like you are trying to block
something on Facebook and "poof it disappears" - which sounds like it
*is* blocked.... how that relates to "apps that redirect their app page"
is obscure.
It's like you gave a full explanation of the situation and the desired
outcome - but then the mice ate most of the message.

And no it's definitely nothing to do with Debian.
