Isn't squeeze stable? How about the unstable?

You could add testing and unstable main to your sources.list then do:

#apt-get install linux-image-amd64

This will bring with it the latest linux kernel and modules for PC's using
AMD64 and Intel 64 processors. [Linux 3.1.4-1 for 64-bit PCs] and keep the
latest kernel on your computer. [If that's what you want..]
