is there a known issue for building kernel-headers (regular rt, no

At least in June building kernel-headers for 2.6.39.1 (not rt, just
threadirqs) still worked.

Yes, there is. When building a kernel headers package with make-kpkg
against a Linux Version 3 kernel, there is a patch you will need.
See my kernel-building web page,

   http://users.wowway.com/~zlinuxman/Kernel.htm

for the patch. I called it linuxv3.diff, I believe.

Good info. Thanks.
