Well Kent, I am afraid we are on our own this time!

But anyway I try it again: is there a kernel command line option thatdisables parallelization of initialization and fixes the order of it? Itwould help me to understand why Squeeze is so reluctant at booting on mymachine. BTW I noticed that the kernel booted by the installationprocess says `pci: disabling MMCONFIG' or something alike. Is it safeto run an ordinary system with this setting? If yes, how can I arrangeso that my system disables MMCONFIG as well?

What is the standard procedure to determine why a kernel refuses toboot? Thanks!
