I have a computer without the old rs232, it's like a netbook, but it's running lenny. I need to plug a termal serial printer to it. usb to serial adapter (prolific chip) should be okay, but didn't work. When back at home, just plugged the printer to the serial and it worked. Plugged through usbserial adapter and nothing happened again. Does anyone have any idea?
