RE: cursor jumps

say 'debian disable touchpad' to Google, click on the first result:

http://www.debuntu.org/2006/06/25/70-how-to-disabling-your-touchpad-while-typing

You will get the instruction:

open a terminal type
$synclient TouchpadOff=1
to disable it while typing.

Later if you want to restore it, type
$synclient TouchpadOff=0

Hi,

I feel unbearable frustrated when cursor just jumped some place else on laptop so often.

even I followed the advice that keep my hands away from touchpad as far as possible.

But many times I need come back to correct the mistakes caused by the cursor jump.

Anyone has any idea about how to solve it.

Thanks with best regards,

lina
