Yes, however, LibraOffice (lo) seems to be as stable as oo (on ubuntu). I don't think that debian puts packages in their repositories when the dev calls them 'beta'.

Btw lo still seems to rely on java for some things. Don't know if they are going to change this in future releases. However, if jre isn't a dependency, it should be.
