where is the gdm.conf

Hi every body,
I am running  light client  contected to  a server ( using XDMCP protocol), the numbers of connexion is limited to 14 or 15,

I want to increase this limit I can't find where to change it. (no gdm.conf ???)  .  I am using gnome 2.1    kernel  2.18  64 bits.

Where  can I change it ?
